Itinerary Breakdown
Day-by-Day Schedule:
- Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
Pick up from Nairobi hotel or airport for a briefing before departing to Masai Mara. Stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and proceed to Narok for lunch. Continue to Masai Mara, check-in at the lodge, and enjoy an evening game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. - Day 2: Masai Mara Full-Day Game Drives
Full-day game drives in Masai Mara with picnic lunch. Enjoy capturing the sunrise and wildlife, including the chance to see the “Big Five.” Option to visit a Maasai village (extra cost). Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. - Day 3: Masai Mara Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park
Optional visit to a Maasai village for cultural tourism, followed by breakfast. Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch en route. Arrive at the lodge for dinner and overnight. - Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha
Game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its flamingos and rhinos. Visit Baboon Cliff for panoramic views. Afterward, enjoy lunch and head to Lake Naivasha for optional activities, such as a boat ride or visit to Crescent Island (extra cost). Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. - Day 5: Lake Naivasha (Hell’s Gate) – Amboseli National Park
Early breakfast, followed by a visit to Hell’s Gate National Park for a safari drive or bicycle ride. Afterward, drive to Amboseli National Park with a stop for lunch. Arrive in time for sunset, check-in, and enjoy dinner with a bonfire at the lodge. - Day 6: Amboseli National Park Full-Day Game Viewing
Full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. - Day 7: Amboseli National Park – Arusha
Morning game drive, then head to the Namanga border with lunch en route. Cross the border into Tanzania, then travel to Arusha for check-in at your hotel. Dinner at your own expense. - Day 8: Arusha – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive from Arusha to Serengeti National Park, with lunch en route. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive before heading to the lodge for dinner and overnight. - Day 9: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
Morning game drive in Serengeti, then drive to Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy. Stop at Olduvai Gorge for an optional visit. Arrive at Ngorongoro in the evening, check-in at the lodge, and enjoy dinner and overnight. - Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Afterward, return to the rim for a picnic lunch and head back to Arusha for hotel check-in or transfer to the airport for flights to Zanzibar. - Day 11: Arusha – Nairobi (Optional)
After breakfast, you may choose to fly to Zanzibar or take a morning shuttle back to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, with drop-off at the airport or hotel.
