Itinerary Breakdown
Day-1 : Nairobi to Masai Mara
- Pickup from your Nairobi hotel and head to the tour briefing point.
- Drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve with a scenic stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and a lunch break in Narok.
- Arrive in Masai Mara, check in, enjoy a cup of coffee, and then go for an evening game drive.
- Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
- After breakfast, embark on a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch in the reserve.
- Experience the sunrise and a variety of wildlife, including the chance to view the Great Migration (seasonal).
- Stop at the Hippo Pool Picnic site for lunch, where you can watch hippos and crocodiles.
- Optional visit to the Masai village (extra cost).
- Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
- Enjoy an early morning game drive to spot predators during their most active hours, followed by breakfast.
- Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with a stop for lunch along the way.
- Arrive at the lodge in the afternoon for check-in, dinner, and overnight.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
- After breakfast, enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its rhinos, flamingos, and diverse wildlife.
- Visit the Baboon Viewpoint Cliff for scenic views before heading for lunch en route to Lake Naivasha.
- Optional activities at Lake Naivasha, such as a boat ride to see hippos and birds or a visit to Crescent Island.
- Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park
- After breakfast, head to Hell’s Gate National Park for a nature walk or a cycling safari.
- After exploring the park, drive to Amboseli National Park, stopping for lunch on the way.
- Arrive at Amboseli in time for a sunset game drive.
- Check-in to the lodge for dinner, a bonfire, and overnight.
Day 6: Full-Day Game Drive in Amboseli National Park
- After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park, home to elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting).
- Picnic lunch during the drive.
- Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Amboseli to Arusha
- After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive.
- Depart for the Namanga border, complete immigration procedures, and continue to Arusha, Tanzania.
- Arrive in Arusha for check-in at the hotel, which includes breakfast; dinner is on your own.
Day 8: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
- After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive.
- Spot the famous tree-climbing lions and a variety of other wildlife.
- Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
- Enjoy breakfast and depart for Ngorongoro Crater, with an optional game drive en route.
- Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its dense wildlife population.
- Evening at leisure and overnight at a lodge near the crater.
Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
- After breakfast, head out for a game drive in Ngorongoro Crater.
- Leave the crater and enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing to Serengeti National Park, known for its breathtaking wildlife and scenic landscapes.
- Arrive in Serengeti, check-in, and enjoy an evening game drive.
- Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 11: Serengeti National Park to Arusha
- Start the day with a pre-morning game drive to see predators along the Seronera River.
- After breakfast, depart for Arusha, arriving in the afternoon.
- Check-in at the hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight (bed and breakfast).
Day 12: Arusha to Nairobi or Zanzibar
- After breakfast, transfer to the Arusha-Nairobi shuttle for a journey to Nairobi.
- Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and be dropped off at the airport or hotel for your onward journey.
- Alternatively, choose to board a flight from Arusha to Zanzibar.
