Itinerary Breakdown
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
- Arrival in Kilimanjaro International Airport
- Transfer to an hotel in Arusha
- Safari Briefing and Final safari preparations
- Spend the night in the hotel
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
- Early breakfast at the hotel.
- Depart from Arusha with packed lunches to Tarangire National Park.
- This incredible park is known for its large herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees, and abundant wildlife, including lions, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and a variety of bird species.
- Enjoy a thrilling game drive and a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park.
- Evening:
- In the evening, transfer to your campsite near Lake Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay at Panorama or Haven Nature Camping Site.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Arusha
- Rise early for breakfast before departing for Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife reserves.
- Descend 600 meters into the crater for a full-day game drive, where you will have the opportunity to see the Big Five, as well as zebras, jackals, hippos, flamingos, rhinos, and various antelope species.
- A picnic lunch will be provided inside the crater as you soak in the breathtaking scenery.
- Afternoon:
- In the late afternoon, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
